Associação Just a Change, legal person with number 508583148, headquartered at Rua da Indústria nº85, 1ºDto, 1300-304 Lisbon, Portugal, (hereinafter “JaC”) protects the privacy of users of its website www.justachange.pt( hereinafter “Website”) very seriously. This document (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”), defines the terms under which JaC treats your personal data collected through the Website and also informs you about the measures adopted regarding data security.
If you do not agree with what is established in this privacy policy, please do not use the Website. The website is a relevant tool for JaC to carry out its work, as it allows it to disseminate information about the campaigns it organizes among the general public, issue press releases and mobilize its employees, among other actions.
The provision of personal data through the Website assumes knowledge of this Privacy Policy. Users under the age of 18, who have not been given prior authorization for this purpose by their parents or guardians, must refrain from sending personal data through the Website.
JaC assumes that the user is able to provide the data collected through the Website and that these are current, true and accurate.

In the context of the use of the Website by the user and participation in events, JaC may process the following categories of data, for the purposes indicated below:
Data collected from forms available on the Website
The filling in of forms by the user on the Website (for example, to subscribe to campaigns, sign up for volunteering projects, subscribe to JaC information, manage and send an anonymous satisfaction questionnaire about events, promote future actions and statistical treatment) implies the collection of personal data requested within the scope of the form. However, JaC also allows the user to provide data by telephone, fax or email.
Subscribing to JaC’s information and filling in certain forms imply that JaC will send informative messages to the email account provided by the user. Occasionally these messages may request the provision of certain information that allow JaC to know the general characteristics of its collaborators. Users have at all times the right to unsubscribe information from the JaC, campaign or program they have subscribed to.
Data collected for the management of donations and legacies
Personal data, mandatory or optional, collected in connection with making donations to JaC, by direct debit, bank transfer, credit card, paypal or MBWay will be used by the latter in order to manage the economic contributions of each user, to establish future contacts with the donor or bequeather and to send him/her periodic information regarding the activities of the JaC.

JaC will use the data it collects through its online store available on the Website to proceed with the purchase and sale of the product(s), to issue the order and the corresponding invoice associated with each purchase. Image and Voice Treatment in JaC Projects and Events
For all legal purposes, without any territorial limitation, JaC informs that it collects and uses the name, function, image and/or voice and personal testimonies, under the terms in which they are captured in photographs, filming and/or other materials of communication that are produced by JaC or by third parties contracted by it for this purpose.
The name, function, image and/or voice and personal testimonies may be subject to treatment for institutional or commercial communication purposes, namely through materials intended for internal or external, institutional or commercial communication actions ( including “marketing”), used individually or together with other images and/or voices, and regardless of the type of support, including internet and intranet, provided that such use is related to the activity of JaC. The communication materials produced under the terms indicated above will also be treated for the purpose of recording and historical archiving.
Request processing
JaC processes personal data relating to the user in order to process requests made by the user within the framework of the law and the contract entered into with JaC, including in particular:
· Clarification of questions raised by the user;
· Providing information or other clarifications in the normal course of enrollments or memberships (in accordance with applicable enrollment/affiliation agreements);
· Technical support for any other operation carried out through the Website;
· Processing your requests for updating and rectifying Personal Data;
· Handling complaints and resolving disputes with users.
Usage statistics
Your personal data may also be used by JaC, in an aggregated and anonymized form, for statistical purposes and for monitoring trends and defining patterns of use of the Website, with a view to constantly improving its performance.
With whom your personal data is shared
Within the framework of its powers, JaC needs to share personal data relating to the user with third parties, whereby the user acknowledges and consents to this sharing. In this context, JaC may transmit personal data:
· Governments, companies or any other organizations that are the target of the campaigns to which the user has subscribed;
· To administrative or judicial authorities, namely when the JaC is obliged to do so by law or by any judicial or administrative order, provided that it is issued by a competent body;
· To third parties subcontracted by JaC, if it deems it reasonable in order to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal or improper activities, suspected fraud, or potential threats to JaC, to users of the Website, or violations or suspected violations of the Terms of Use;
· To third parties subcontracted by JaCque to ensure the production of content, management of volunteering events, development, maintenance and hosting of computer systems, ensuring that technical and organizational measures are applied, appropriate to the processing activity by the partners. In this context, they may transfer the data to entities located in third countries (outside the European Union), being assured that the appropriate security measures will be taken and in accordance with the legislation in force.
Right of Access, Rectification and Updating of Data
Under the terms of the law, JaC guarantees you, at all times, the right to access, rectify, update and delete the respective personal data, and may also object to its processing for direct marketing purposes, in all cases, upon written request addressed to the JaC (responsible for the treatment), to the following address: geral@justachange.pt.
The possibility of withdrawing the consent given does not invalidate the processing of data carried out until the moment this request is submitted.

Despite all efforts, however, it is not possible for JaC to guarantee the full and absolute inviolability of the information received, taking into account the insecure nature of open networks such as the Internet.
